National Poetry Month: April 3

Happy Birthday David Carter!!! It’s a big day for a sweet friend.

My piece, “Forget It,” is up at Marco Polo Arts Magazine, thanks editor Darin Beasley. Each story in this online anthology had to have exactly 100 words included.

Today, for National Poetry Month, I read one of my favorite poems in the entire Universe! This is e.e. cummings “somewhere I have never travelled, gladly beyond” and I dedicate this to my pal, writer Joani Reese, who adores this poem equally:

What is one thing you have learned from love? From a lover?

YAY! Happy Birthday Davit!!!! Love the poem. What have I learned from a lover? How to save money…no kidding. From love, how to stand up for myself. Congratulations!

When someone writes a poem he/she keeps the thought
of a reader in his/her mind, that’s how a reader can
understand it. So that’s why this piece of writing is amazing. Thanks!
